Ash Jumpsuit ; Calças do molde Ash Jumpsuit

(scroll down for english)

I have several of Celina patterns, I buy them gradually and I love them all. First was the Tip Top Dress, after the  Ash Jumsuit and the Morocco Pants.
Today I show you the pants from the Ash Jumsuit because they are very good and is a pattern that I am sure I will repeat several times because in addition to having several options (pants, overalls, just top, etc.) ... Well, they are the perfect pants to dance!
I made them in two different fabrics, knit and chambray - that although they have been less "flow" were also approved. They are a basic pattern and simple to do but at the same time very practical. The knit ones I made without pockets and the chambray ones with pockets. On the list is making the jumpsuit after ... you know what list is it don't you? The one that never diminishes, only grows. ;-)

Os presentes da minha filha: My daughter's gifts

(scroll down for English)

A month or two a friend ago a friend shared, on her facebook page, the work of the photographer Melissa Kaseman and I fell in love with the Preschooler Pocket Treasures series. If you can, visit the page and delight yourself with the beauty of her work.
In the unpretentiousness of those pictures you see a child, understand plans and desires, you feel the energy of color and the fantasy of a small child. They are small things, a pencil or a spangle, a crumpled paper or a pen, real treasures indeed. For me it made perfect sense, I have a gatherer daughter to say the least. So it was inspired by her work and this shooting that I started to register all of my daughter's small gifts.
My Carolina brings me, systematically, gifts when she comes from school; flowers and leaves to me, sticks and stones for her. Many of these flowers do not even go to a jar... they made a car ride in the hands of a four year girl, some have no stem / foot, others come with the petals all bitten and some are dried flowers in which she saw a beauty still to disappear. I thank her with a hug, all the kisses she allows me at that time and the same enthusiasm for all.
This is the record of the last two or three weeks. Photos taken on the kitchen counter, on the phone, without editing. Seeing them all together really makes my heart shrink a bit, I love this girl so much and I suspect she loves me back.

I love this book, every single pattern, I really loveeee them all. That didn't make things easier for me when it comes to choose what do do but, in the end, the girl needs shorts and these with a sort of culottes look were irresistible.
I used some denim that I suspect (because the book is in japanese and I don't understand a word of it) is also the fabric used in the book.

I only did this pattern once (can you tell I'm going to do it again and again?) so I don't know how other fabrics behave, but I believe that this pattern needs a sturdier fabric so not to lose his charm.

I bought this fabric at my local shop and it was really cheap, like 4€ for almost 2 meters. I had to use a denim needle and I wanted to use some topstitiching thread but I didn't have it in the color I wanted so I used the a straight triple stitch. They are very fast to do specially if you don't do the flat side seams (which I did). That's one of the best things of the japanese books I own, the construction is easy and truly clever.

It's the first of many more I tell you ;-)...
