A Fada dos Dentes já cá passou ; The Tooth Fairy was here

(scroll down for English)

The tooth fairy has already been to our house. But unfortunately, we were not prepared for it the first time, because we never thought our Miss Caracolinhos would break a tooth when trying to open the piggy bank. Yes, she did... So it was 1 for the piggy bank and 0 for my daughetr's shaking tooth. When her second tooth started to shake, in addition to hiding the piggy bank, I decided to make a tooth-shaped pillow so she could put the tooth in when it fell and receive the coin (I wanted something obvious for the case of the tooth fairy not being the smartest of the fairies). We have already realized that our Miss Caracolinhos is a capitalist.I drew a tooth in white felt and embroidered on the eyes, a smile and flushed cheeks, I gave him a flower in a little corner (much better than dental cavity ;-)) and in the back I made a small bag to put the tooth / coin. I used the split stitch for the eyes, for the cheeks the seed stitch and the back stitch, for the mouth the back stitch and the blanket stitch all around.I think you can say that it went well, the daughter loved it and the tooth fairy did not miss the target when the second tooth felt (alone).
