Almofada de alianças bordada à mão: Embroidered wedding ring bearer pillow

A minha prima Marta casou em Agosto e eu queria oferecer-lhe um presente especial. Um presente que tivesse significado e ao mesmo tempo que lhe fosse útil, que ela pudesse guardar para as filhas ou filhos dela (sem pressão nenhuma prima! ;-) ) se ela e/ou eles assim o desejarem. Acredito nestas peças e no valor que adquirem dentro de uma família. Gosto de imaginar que o linho perdura, o fio se mantém e o amor de cada ponto com eles se segura.  

Comecei por fazer o desenho de um motivo floral e rapidamente passei para o bordado. Usei um tecido de 100% linho que comprei há uns tempos na loja Pra Kriar em Lisboa e fio dourado - Metallic Thread - da Anchor que é lindo e como tem alguma elasticidade é muito mais fácil de trabalhar que as linhas Lamé (estas são mais "rigidas"). No centro cosi uma fita para segurar as alianças e conseguir dar um laço bem bonito. 

Adorei fazer esta peça e tenho muita vontade de repetir com tecidos diferentes e linhas diferentes. O desenho simples permite muitas interpretações que facilmente se adaptam a outros gostos. Acho que ia funcionar lindamente branco com branco, por exemplo, ou outra combinação monocromática. Acho que não vou esperar por outro casamento, acabei de ter uma ideia enquanto escrevia sobre esta experiência! <3  ;-) 

My cousin Marta married in August and I wanted to offer her a special gift. A gift that had meaning and at the same time that would be useful to her, that she could keep for her daughters or her children (no pressure at all! ;-)) if she and/or they so wished to. I believe in these pieces and the value they acquire within a family. I like to imagine that the linen lasts, the thread stays and the love of each stich keeps them all together. 

I started by drawing a simple floral design and quickly moved to the embroidery. I used a 100% linen fabric that I bought some time ago in the Pra Kriar store in Lisbon and the gold thread - Metallic Thread - from Anchor that is beautiful and because it has some elasticity it is much easier to work than the Lamé lines (these are more " rigid "). In the center I sewed a ribbon to hold the rings and manage to make a pretty bow.

I loved doing this piece and I really want to repeat it with different fabrics and different threads. The simple design allows for many interpretations that easily adapt to other tastes. I think it would work beautifully white on white, for example, or another monochrome combination.

I guess I will not wait for another marriage, I just got an idea while writing about this embroidery! <3 ;-)

 

Inespiration; Inês és uma inspiração!

When I knew a surprised was being planned for Inês, I felt so happy for her that I really wanted to be a part of it. Inês is one of the sweetest persons I know (and I know a lot of sweet people) and a very dear friend. ;-)

Since I met her for the first time, we've shared lots of fabric buying, lots of sewing plans, tips and tricks, and words of encouragement in moments of sewing despair (see, what I did here? I can see Inês making this joke also ;-). Soon, we've become friends and I love talking to her about all sorts of stuff, sewing, our kids, people that drive us made, and so on.

She's a truly inspiring women. She has the best wardrobe and I'm sure those theet of hers are just perfect, look at that smile. I tried to smile on my pictures because I was Inespired but... well, we are doing our best! 

My fabric choices were easy, they are fabrics I bought with Inês! My pattern choices were easy too, I made the Bento Tee and the Waterfall Raglan, two patterns we both love and have both donne several times. 

I made these with slight modifications, something that Inês is a master at doing. Well, modfications and hacks in her case. ;-) In the Bento Tee I enlarged the neckline a bit and the lenght of it (I used view A lenght) because of personal taste and in the Waterfall Raglan I lenght it also, omitted the ruffle and added some small cuffs to the sleeves. I love both patterns and I know Inês does too. 

In the end I hope Inês knows I love her and threasure her friendship. So much I blogged and took pictures ;-) ah ah ah ah

When embroidery meets sewing; A misturar bordado e costura

Eu precisava de uma bolsa para levar os meus bordados na semana que íamos estar fora de casa, de férias, com as miúdas. Decidi que ia usar um que adoro da Cotton and Steel chamado Rosa Flora Neutral, feito pela Rifle Paper Co. 

Como queria que fosse uma bolsa acolchoada, mais confortável para transporte de bastidores de madeira, resolvi prender o enchimento ao tecido exterior bordado algumas das folhas e assim prendendo as duas camadas. Acabou por ser uma ideia muito viciante, o difícil foi parar de bordar as folhas porque eu estava a adorar o resultado. Depois de as duas partes estarem bem presas uma à outra, fiz a bolsa interior e juntei as duas de forma habitual. 

Quando tinha a bolsa feita resolvi que ainda precisa de uma bolsa para os lápis e canetas que agora carrego comigo. Descobri, com o bordado, que cada vez me apetece mais desenhar e tenho-o feito seja para realizar as ideias que me chegam, seja para me divertir um pouco. Gosto mesmo de todo o processo criativo, desde quando a ideia aparece, passando por a meter no papel e por fim no tecido. Dá-me verdadeiro prazer. Nota-se? ;-) 

Decidi manter a orla do tecido como detalhe porque é linda e estes detalhes são o que faz mais diferença para mim. 

I needed another pouch to take my embroidery stuff for the week we would be away in vacations with the girls and so I decided to use my beloved canvas named Rosa Flora Neutral, from Cotton and Steel, from Rifle Paper Co. Because I wanted it to have a quilted look, I decided to embroidery part of the leaves as a way to hold the padding to the main fabric. It turned out it was a good decision and a very addictive one too, I had to stop myself from keeping embroidering more and more leaves. After attaching the padding to the exterior fabric with this method I keep the process as usual for making this sort of pouches, I made the lining and attached both. 

I couldn't resist on making a pencil pouch because I found that with this love for embroidery came an incredible urge to draw more and more. I trully enjoy all the process of creation, from the idea in my head to the realisation of it. Can you tell? 

I choose to mantain the selvedge of the fabric because just look at it, it's beautiful! 

Roupa de Boneca Waldorf: Waldorf Doll Clothes

O processo criativo é algo maravilhoso e verdadeiramente complexo de explicar, o que nos motiva o que nos impele, o que nos faz criar e o quê. É extremamente estimulante conversar com pessoas criativas e perceber as suas motivações é, muitas vezes, verdadeiramente surpreendente.

No meu caso, adoro aprender e tenho uma curiosidade gigante pelos mais variados temas. Vou saltando de uma coisa para outra com uma vontade febril de saber mais, de experimentar. Leio muito, pesquiso ainda mais e tento aprender, consciente de que tudo isso faz parte de um processo que me faz bem, que me ajuda a manter centrada e mais feliz. Este fim-de-semana estive a fazer roupas de bonecas, mais especificamente para bonecas Waldorf e adorei fazer roupa pequenina, com igualmente pequenos detalhes. Não é fácil, exactamente porque é tudo tão pequeno mas o resultado é delicioso. 

Quando acabei as roupas pensei "e uns sapatos?". Mais uma vez, fui pesquisar e na base da tentativa erro consegui fazer aqueles sapatos e não vos posso dizer a felicidade que um par de sapatos de boneca me deu. Parece tolo mas nem sempre, como diz o Alain de Botton numa Ted Talk extraordinária sobre o que é ser bem sucedido, aquilo que pensamos que nos vai fazer feliz é o que nos verdadeiramente satisfaz.

 Para mim, criar e partilhar é uma grande parte do que me deixa feliz. 

The creative process is something wonderful and truly complex to explain, what motivates us, what drives us, what makes us create and what do we end up creating. It is extremely stimulating to talk to creative people and realize their motivations and its often truly a surprise. 

In my case, I love to learn and I have a great curiosity for the most varied subjects. I jump from one thing to another with a feverish desire to know more, to experiment. I read much, I research even more, and I try to learn conscious that all of this is part of a process that does me good, which helps me stay focused and happier. 

This weekend I was making doll clothes, more specifically for Waldorf dolls, and I found I love making small clothes with equally small details. It's not easy, exactly because it's all so small but the result is delicious.

When I finished the clothes I thought "and what about some shoes?". Again, I went searching and on the basis of trial and error I managed to make those shoes and I can not tell you the happiness that a pair of doll shoes gave me. It seems silly, I can understand it sounds silly, but not always, as Alain de Botton says in an extraordinary Ted Talk about what it is to be successful, what we think will make us happy is what truly satisfies us.

For me, creating and sharing is a big slice of what makes me happy.

Já aqui falei sobre não coser para a Sara. Normalmente não o faço porque ela não precisa e e sinto-me "culpada" perante a quantidade de peças de roupa que ela já têm e acabo por fazer para a Miss Caracolinhos ou para mim. No entanto, depois do sucesso que foi cá em casa o Pijama Dorminhoco, eu tinha que experimentar o novo molde da Susana, do Suco By Susana, o Hoodie Luís e Joana.

Fiz o tamanho 18 meses que sabia que ia ficar folgado à Sara, nesta fase eles crescem demasiado depressa por isso é uma vantagem. Não fiz alterações ao molde original e usei uma malha de sweatshirt maravilhosa que comprei na FDT e para o capuz uma malha bem fina mas de toque super suave da Sweet Mercerie. É um molde muito bom e com instruções super completas, mais uma vez prima pela qualidade. Prova disso é o facto de este molde ser lançado hoje pelo Up Craft Club e sorte a vossa, com 25% nos próximos dois dias! 

I already told you about not sewing for Sara. I usually don't do it because she doesn't need it  and I feel "guilty" over the amount of clothing she already has and I end up sewing for Miss Caracolinhos or myself. However, after the success of the Pajamas Dorminho in hour house, I had to try the new pattern of Suco By Susana, the Luís and Joana Hoodie.

I made size 18 months that I knew it's was going to be roomy on Sara, at this point they grow too fast so this is an advantage. I did not make changes to the original pattern and I used a wonderful sweatshirt knit that I bought on FDT and for the hood a very thin knit but with a super soft touch from the Sweet Mercerie. It is a very good pattern and with super complete instructions, once again excelent quality. You can buy it with 25% off in the Up Craft Club for the next two days so don't miss the chance! 

Quando partilhei a foto no Instagram muitas pessoas me perguntaram onde tinha comprado o panda que apliquei nas costas e por isso resolvi fazer um mini tutorial a explicar. O panda foi reciclado de uma t-shirt antiga de verão delas.

1º Cortei o panda da t-shirt, 

2º com o ferro colei-o à entretela (para malhas que comprei na FDT) para não desfiar e dar estabilidade, 

3º decidi onde o queria e com um ponto ziguezague cosi-o ao casaco. Em três passos, uma aplicação bem gira e uma reutilização. 

When I shared the photo on Instagram many people asked me where I had bought the panda that I applied on the back and so I decided to do a mini tutorial to explain. The panda was recycled from an old summer t-shirt of them.

1st Cut the panda from the t-shirt,

2º with the iron I glue it to the interfacing (for knits that I bought in FDT) to give stability and prevent from easily fraying,

3º I decided where I wanted it and with a zigzag stitch I sew it to the coat. In three steps, a cute application and a recycling. 

Pijama Dorminhoco

A Susana, da marca Suco by Susana, lançou hoje o seu primeiro molde de roupa, o Pijama Dorminhoco. Eu tive a oportunidade de testar este molde e gostei muito, vai ser o meu molde de pijama para as miúdas nos próximos anos. Vá... pelo menos até aos 12 anos! ;-)
Parabéns à Susana por inovar e criar com qualidade um molde em português, eu cá não conheço mais nenhum e vocês?
Fiz os tamanhos 18 meses e 4 anos. As calças da Sara ficaram um pouco compridas propositadamente, eu sou uma mãe prevenida. ;-)
As miúdas por aqui adoraram.

Visible mending; Remendos visíveis

Eu sou muito esquisita com as calças de ganga, por isso, uso as calças que gosto até à exaustão. Isso implica que, volta e meia, tenha que lhes meter uns remendos. Com o tempo e a experiência, fui aprendendo algumas dicas sobre como o fazer. Atenção que os meus remendos são visíveis, não estou a falar daqueles que quase ninguém repara que existem, os meus têm imperfeições, são grandes e coloridos, são cheios de carácter. Portanto, se estavam à espera dos «disfarçados», desculpem mas este post não é para vocês. ;-)
As fotos não são da melhor qualidade, faço este tipo de coisas à noite e à mão, por isso, não há uma boa luz e as fotos são tiradas do telemóvel. No entanto, acho que é perceptível o processo e isso é o mais importante, não é? (vá lá, digam que sim!)

É um processo simples. Primeiro meto um tecido que gosto pelo lado de dentro das calças e por cima meto uma entretela termocolante para estabilizar o tecido, depois, com o uso do ferro de passar a ferro, «colo» as três partes. A entretela prende o tecido as calças dando estabilidade e assim é mais fácil de coser e dá mais resistência ao remendo. Esta entretela pode ser comprada em várias retrosarias, na Feira dos Tecidos, etc. Eu usei uma que também se usa para as malhas (jersey e afins) porque é uma das que gosto mais. Não puxem demasiado a linha ao coser e façam vários pontos de uma só vez para não se cansarem tanto.  Por uma questão de gosto pessoal eu uso um ponto corrido para prender os tecidos, mas existem muitas, muitas opções...
Se fizerem uma pesquisa encontram muitas outras formas do fazer. Para mim, faz-me lembrar a técnica de Sashiko embora já tenha aprendido que esta técnica é bastante mais complexa do que aparenta quando fiz um workshop no Fundação Oriente. No entanto, a ideia é a mesma, reforçar, usar novamente, reciclar o que temos e gostamos.

I am very picky when it comes to jeans, so I use the the ones I love to exhaustion. This implies that, now and again, I have to mend them. With time and experience, I learned a few tips on how to do this. Please note that my mending is visible, I'm not talking about those that hardly anyone notices, mine have imperfections, are big and colorful, are full of character. So if you were waiting for the 'disguised' ones, sorry but this post is not for you. ;-)
The photos are not of the best quality, I do this sort of thing at night and by hand, so there is not a good light and the pictures are taken on the phone. However, I think the process is noticeable and that is the most important... (please say it is!)

It is a simple process. I use a fabric I like on the inside of the pants and over it a fusible interfacing to stabilize the fabrics, then, with the use of the iron to iron, I «glue» the three parties. The interfacing holds the pants giving stability and thus it is easier to sew and gives more resistance to the mending. I used interfacing used for knits because its the one I like best. Don't pull the thread too much when sewing and make several rows at once to not get tired so much. As a matter of personal taste I use a running stitch to hold the fabric, but there are many, many options ...
If you do a search there are many other ways of doing. For me, it reminds me of the Sashiko technique although I have learned that this technique is much more complex than meets the eye when I did a workshop in Fundação Oriente. However, the idea is the same, strengthen, reuse, recycle what we have and love.

A mala ursa cor-de-rosa: A pink bear bag

(scroll down for english) A minha Miss Caracolinhos tinha uma festa de aniversário no domingo à tarde e eu, como gosto de fazer as prendas, andei a adiar até à última porque ainda não tinha encontrado a prenda certa para aquela menina em especial.
No sábado o meu R trouxe a Burda para casa e à noite, enquanto a folheava, descobri que vinha lá a prenda que eu ia fazer para a Rita. Um malinha de ursa em feltro, uma peça adorável para uma doce menina de 4 anos.

My Miss Caracolinhos had a birthday party on Sunday afternoon and I, as I like to make gifts, postponed making one until the last minute because I had not yet found the right gift for that girl in particular.
On Saturday my R brought Burda Magazine home and at night, while flipping through, I found that there was there the gift that I was going to do for Rita. A bear purse in felt, a lovely piece for a sweet 4 year old girl.

Como sou irrequieta, vá vamos chamar assim, resolvi fazer uns acrescentos/modificações à mala. A primeira foi que cosi todas as peças à mão (e o prazer que coser à mão me dá? isto foi puramente por motivos egoístas, podem coser tudo à máquina!). A segunda foi que usei feltro termocolante e após bordar e coser todas as pequenas peças (nariz, bochechas, etc.), meti um tecido bonito por cima das duas partes - parte da frente e parte de trás - passei o ferro durante uns minutos e ficou tudo tapado e bonito.

As I am restless, let's call it that, I decided to make a few additions / changes to the purse. The first was that I hand sewed all the pieces (it's amazing the pleasure that hand sewing gives me! This was purely for selfish reasons, you can sew everything by machine!). The second was that I used fusible felt so after embroidering and sewing all the small parts (nose, cheeks, etc.), I searched for a beautiful fabric to put on the two parts - front and back - used the iron for a few minutes and it was all covered and beautiful.

Depois fiz uma faixa de dois centímetros que vai de orelha a orelha e forrei-a, exactamente como fiz com as outras partes. Essa faixa cosi-a e assim uni a parte da frente com a parte de trás da mala (imagem acima). Para passar a alça da mala cosi uma presilha de cada lado da mala. Para a alça usei um cordão simples branco. Foram alterações básicas ao molde original que é ainda mais fácil de executar.
Nota: Se passarem o molde para papel vegetal com lápis basta virar o molde para o feltro e decalcar, ao de leve, o tracejado do lápis para o feltro (primeira imagem). Super fácil!

Then I did a 2 cm range stripe that goes from ear to ear and I lined it, just as I did with the other pieces. This sripe of felt unites the front to the back of the bag (above). To pass the bag handle I sewed a tab on each side of the bag. For the handle I used a simple white cord. These were basic changes to the original pattern that is even easier to perform.
Note: If you use greaseproof paper with pencil to trace your pattern you simply need to turn the pattern to the felt and trace on the reverse, your bear will appear in no time. Super easy!

 

Agora tenho que fazer uma.. ou duas cá para casa que as minhas miúdas também adoraram.

Review : Crítica La maison victor magazine

Já aqui falei varias vezes sobre como é difícil e simultaneamente enriquecedor (atenção a esta segunda parte) aprender a costurar sozinha e, na verdade, é mesmo um processo difícil 50% do tempo e enriquecedor 100%  das vezes. Existem tantas coisas a aprender e mesmo passados três anos disto ainda me sinto uma autodidacta muito limitada, há tanto ainda onde me aventurar. Mas, mais do que olhar para o que ainda me falta, há que não esquecer o que já passou, o que já aprendi e criei até à data.
Há uns dois meses, aproximadamente, comprei a minha primeira revista La Maison Victor e adorei a estrutura da revista assim como os moldes, dicas, etc. Depois disso já comprei mais duas e estou rendida. Os moldes são de tamanhos muito abrangentes, tanto para adulto como criança. Há moldes em todas as revistas (pelo menos nas 3 que tenho é este o esquema e deduzo que o mesmo suceda nas restantes) para mulher, homem, criança e bebé. Além dos moldes de roupa há também moldes de tricot que eu acho lindos mas para os quais não tenho outro uso que não pedir à minha mãe que faça, eu não tenho jeito nenhum. (E ela tem zero paciência para a costura, nem consegue perceber como eu sou tão maluca por isto!)
Uma das grandes vantagens desta revista é que cada molde vem com instruções detalhadas de construção e embora estejam em francês (há francês, alemão e neerlandês) são bastante fáceis de perceber por causa das ilustrações. Gosto muito do facto de aconselharem tecidos específicos e de inclusive fazerem sugestões relativamente ao tipo de corpo versus molde apresentado e o que favorece mais cada um. Exemplo disso é um molde que fiz para mim, molde Fran que aconselhava a não fazer caso se tivesse um tipo de corpo formato maça que é o meu tipo de corpo. Eu fiz o vestido mas alterei tanto decote como mangas e estreitei um pouco o torso, eles tinham razão, aquele decote não me favorecia. ;-)
Para ela fiz o molde Milla da revista julho-agosto 2016 com um tecido maravilhoso da Sweet Mercerie e foi um sucesso, ela usuou-o durante dois dias seguidos, com nódoas e tudo. (não foi um dos meus melhores momentos como mãe... ah ah ah ah) É um macacão porque debaixo dessa pequena saia existem uns calções lindos no mesmo tecido, perfeito para as meninas inquietas.

I have spoken here several times about how difficult and rewarding at the same time (attention to the second part)it is to learn to sew "alone" and, in fact, it's a difficult process 50% of the time and enriching 100% of the time. There are so many things to learn and even after three years of this I still feel a self-taught begginer, there is still much where to venture. But more than looking at what I still miss, I can't forget what has passed, what I have learned and created to date.
A couple of months or so, I bought my first magazine La Maison Victor and I loved the magazine's structure as well as the templates, tips, etc. After that I already bought two more and I want to do so many things from them! The patterns are very embrancing in sizes for both adult and child. There are patterns in all the magazines (at least in the 3 I have this is the layout and I gather that it happens like so in all) for woman, man, child and baby. In addition to clothing patterns there are also tricot patterns, I find them beautiful but I have no use other than to ask my mother to do it...

One of the great advantages of this magazine is that each template comes with detailed building instructions and although they are in French (there are magazines in French, German and Dutch) they are fairly easy to understand because of the illustrations. I love the fact that they advise specific fabrics and even make suggestions for the type of body versus pattern presented and which favors more each. An example is a pattern I made for me; pattern Fran not advised if you have a apple type body and that is my body type. I made the dress but changed both neckline, sleeves and narrowed a bit the torso... they were right, that clivage doesn't flatter me ;-)
For her I made the pattern Milla, with a super soft fabric from the Sweet Mercerie and it was a hit, she wore it two days straight, stains and all. (Not my best prenting days, probably... ah ah ah) It's a jumpsuit because underneath that small skirt there are some cute shorts in the same fabric, perfect for little restless girls.

Eu realmente adorei este livro e no mesmo dia que fiz o vestido de que já falei anteriormente aqui, fiz estes calções que adoro! São super fáceis de fazer, rápidos e têm a vantagem de parecer uma saia e ser uns calções porque a miúda por aqui agora está numa de só querer saias. E querer andar sempre de saias não combina com andar constantemente de rabo no chão, a construir castelos de areia, flores e paus.

I really loved this book and on the same day I made the dress I've talked about before here, I made these shorts that I love! They are super easy to make, quick and have the advantage of appearing to be a skirt because my sweet girl here now just wants skirts. And always wanting skirts doesn't go along with walking constantly on the ground, building sand castles filled with flowers and sticks.

Como disse, a construção é simples e ficam prontos num instante mas, como não levam elástico à frente só atrás, fica ali uma marca nas laterais que não me deixou muito convencida... para a próxima vou fazer uma pequena alteração na cintura, talvez também uniformizar o tamanho das duas partes  em altura - a peça da frente é ligeiramente mais pequena- para que o elástico não puxe tanto e assim não se note também tanto.
O tecido é uma malha azul com muito pouca elasticidade mas que funciona perfeitamente nestes calções. Estamos a precisar de básicos porque abunda por aqui a bonecada!


As I said, the construction is simple and they are a quick sew  but, as it has no elastic in the front just behind, there is a mark on the side that did not leave me very happy ... next time I will make a small change in the waist, perhaps also standardize the size of the two parts in height - the front part is slightly smaller- so the elastic does not pull so much and so it´s not so noticeable.
The fabric is a blue mesh with very little elasticity but that works perfectly in these shorts. We are in need of basic because prints abound here!;-)

Pattern Shop Muni: Livro Japonês de moldes

A semana passada recebi o livro a Pattern Shop Muni e adorei! Quero fazer quase tudo o que vem no livro, é fantástico! Este é um livro de moldes para usar a corte e cose (tudo malhas) e tem vários calções, tops, blusas, calças e vestidos. Além disso inclui também 5 moldes para adulto. Tantas possibilidades! ;-) 

Eu, assim que abri o livro soube o que ia fazer primeiro. Uns calções e uma blusa que estão logo nas primeiras páginas. Nunca fui muito de folhos e mais folhos mas adorei aquelas mangas de folho e uns calções com ar de saia também me conquistam num instante. Cada um com as suas fraquezas. 

Hoje, vou-vos mostrar a blusa que acabei por transformar em vestido de uma forma bem simples. Basicamente acrescentei dois rectângulos à parte de baixo, e cosi um elástico a unir a parte de cima à parte de baixo, também na corte e cose. 

Eu adoro livros de moldes japoneses, a construção é simples e bem explicada por norma (frequentemente só com os passos essenciais, embora este livro tenha alguns moldes mais detalhados) e eu aprendo sempre alguma coisa! 

Se não tiverem corte e cose podem sempre usar a máquina de costura normal, como explica a Diana neste artigo óptimo do Cose+. 

Last week I got the book Pattern Muni Shop and I loved it! I want to do almost everything that comes in this book, it's fantastic! This is a book of patterns for the serger (all knits) and has several shorts, tops, blouses, trousers and dresses. It also includes 5 patterns for adult. So many possibilities! ;-)

As soon as I opened the book I knew what I would do first. The shorts and a blouse that are in the first few pages. I never have never been much into frills and more frills but I loved those flutter sleeves and those shorts with skirt looking air. Each one with their weaknesses.

Today, I'll show you the shirt that I ended up turning into dress in a very simple way. Basically two rectangles added to the bottom, and an elastic sewed to join the top to the bottom, also using the serger. 

I have to tell you I love japanese sewing books because they bring simple and cute clothes and I always (yes, always) learn something! This one already has a special place in my heart!<3
